Interior Design: Let there be Light

I love houses that have lots and lots of big windows and light. It just makes me very calm. If the house has a lot of calming colors like light grey,then that's a big plus. I remember when I saw my now home, the dinning area was red and the first mental note I made was the repaint the whole house.. there was no way I was having a red dining area. I know...very nit picky. I saw this house on one of the interior design portfolios I like to keep my eye on and I fell in love with the space and the lighting. Look at all that natural light..

Interior Design: Long Island Beach House

Summer is almost over... Cry me a sundown river (google it).. Its soo sad! But Autumn/Fall is also really pretty but I still prefer the summer! This Interior is dedicated to our last days of  thinking of going to the beach, eating ice-cream, getting sun-burnt, lounging with no care in the world, road trips, wearing short-shorts and grilling...  This house is located on the beach and it's the perfect house for a quick getaway or a family vacation.
