Henry's - 132 10th St NE, Atlanta, GA 30309. I went here for brunch. The biscuit and bacon were amazing!! There was a bit too much paprika for me to handle on the potatoes, but, it was really good! I would definitely recommend it for a quick brunch and location!
Small Cakes - 2566 Briarcliff Rd. Atlanta, GA 30329. Smallcakes has different locations in Georgia, so you can find the nearest location to you by googling them. I got a cake and cupcakes for my birthday. Pictured above is the "Wedding Cake" Cupcake. They have flavors ranging from lemon drop, cookies-n-cream, hot fudge, chocolate cream and famous red velvet. My wedding cake was good, but the best flavor I think they had was the red velvet! It was very rich! If you are looking for a quick sugar fix, go here!
Makan Restaurant and Bar - 130 Clairemont Ave.Suite 100 Decatur, GA — 30030 My best friend and I went for the Atlanta Food Festival last year, and we sampled the pork buns at Makan. We VOWED we were going to visit them as soon as we could. Fast forward 1 year later and we did, twice! Once for their late night menu were we ate every single thing on the menu (we were really hungry), stayed till 2:00am and the second visit was on my birthday. The story for this restaurant is very cute. It goes like this - Taiwanese boy meets Korean Girl, another Chinese boy meets another Korean Girl. Korean Girl is childhood friends with another Korean Girl. Both girls introduce Taiwanese boy to Chinese boy. The boys decide to open a restaurant, consult with their girls/wives and then Makan was born! I thoroughly enjoyed my birthday dinner here! It was the Sunday Supper which was a 4 course dinner for only $24/person. It was DELICIOUS! my favorite was the Korean Bulgogi and of course the pork bun. I highly recommend this place! Like seriously! GO HERE!!
YEAH! Burger - 1017 North Highland Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30306. I was craving hot dogs and I went to yeah burger! The sweet potatoes were amazing as usual and the hot dog was OK. Not the best I've had but good! I recommend the burgers more than the hot dog for anybody that will like to try this place!
Seed Kitchen & Bar - 1311 Johnson Ferry Road, Suite 504 Marietta, Georgia 30068. This is my to-go place for brunch/lunch. *cough* *cough* Confession time - When Seed first opened they had the cutest waiters ever! (not saying that they don't now) I promise you! That was probably why I kept going there but seriously, their food is delicious, consistent and the location is very convenient. I always have the farmers breakfast and the pomegranate ginger ale for brunch (pictured above) and for lunch, I go for the burger or their tacos (delicious!).
Star Provisions - 1198 Howell Mill Road Atlanta, GA 30318. Sometimes I think I can just move all my belongings and live at this restaurant/baked goods/cheese/ wine/seafood/roasted coffee/ gift shop. I mean they have EVERYTHING! I go there exclusively for 3 , well 4, I mean 5 things - the love bites cookies, the bahn mi sandwich (pictured above), the Korean BBQ beef sandwich (*swoon*), the fried chicken, and the shrimp po boy. Trust me when I say everything here is good. There is nothing bland here. I promise!
