Background - 'milk and honey' is a collection of poetry and prose about survival. About the experience of violence, abuse, love, loss, and femininity. It is split into four chapters, and each chapter serves a different purpose. Deals with a different pain. Heals a different heartache. 'milk and honey' takes readers through a journey of the most bitter moments in life and finds sweetness in them because there is sweetness everywhere if you are just willing to look

F & C - It's the middle of the month, and last month, we took a break :).  To make up for last month and to have a quick break from fiction, if you are interested, lets take a quick detour to poetry and finish this month with a big bang (I'm currently in London, and their Netflix has The Big Bang Theory, and I've been binge watching it before I go back to the States where unfortunately we do not have it)! Thanks to Instagram and the explore page, I found out about Rupi Kaur and read some of her poetry, and of course I fell in love with the way she used her words. I have since bought her book, and and will be reading it this month! Hope you join in :)
